ABOUT US

Our name and company logo were inspired by our wonderful experience, many years ago, of helping to foster and care for injured brushtail and ringtail possums, before they were released back into the wild, and able to fend for themselves again.

When we moved to our current house, we discovered these rather cute creatures live in a number of the trees around our property. 

Our house, and hence the design studio, is called "Kurrara", an indigenous word, which means "place frequented by possums".

Not only have they inspired our house and studio name, but we have also adopted the ringtail as our logo, which you will notice has replaced the 'g' in our studio name.
