ABOUT US

Kurrara Designs Studio is a textile art and craft platform to display my portfolio of work and provide information, teaching and guidance on a range of art and craft processes and techniques that interest and excite me. 

I love working with fabric and paper to create a range of functional, wearable or decorative items. My most favourite things to do include  dyeing fabrics; free machine and digitised embroidery; monoprinting and mixed media surface design; creating gift cards and papercraft art pieces. Examples of  my work can be found in the Galleries.

My aim is not only to show you what I like to do, but also to help you get your creative juices flowing. Over time, I will be sharing more and more articles and tutorials that will guide you step by step and invite you to explore your own unique creativity and, more importantly, encourage you to feel joy and excitement when you are "in the creative flow".
