Why Choose Kurrara Designer Papers?
Many crafters love using designer papers because they offer speed, ease of use and clean, consistent and professional results, especially for small or intricate die-cuts. They’re particularly ideal for batch making, as they save you overall time and the need for a large collection of colouring supplies. They are also great for anyone with limited dexterity who finds tiny die-cut pieces tricky to colour. However, if you enjoy the fun of stamping or colouring your papers, before die-cutting or collaging with them, then our papers are designed so that you can personalise them too and make them your own.
Each one of our papers begins as a real, physical and original artwork, created with care and passion. Together they form a growing collection of beautiful abstract papers, with a unique look that you won't find in generic craft packs. They feature organic designs, that are rich in subtle colour, texture and toning variations which make them perfect for:

This card was a quick and simple project to make. With beautifully pre-coloured and soft, realistic shading, from the Distress Ink and Mixed Media paper sets, die cut florals and foliage came to life in next to no time. A few gems and butterflies added a hint of sparkle at the end!
Give new life to an old soap box, with this elegant, altered box project. Hydrangea flowers were die-cut from one of the Hand Painted Fabric sets, printed on glossy photo and copy papers. The same design was used for covering the box, inside and out and for 3D floral embellishments around the box. Lace trim, leaves and butterflies added the final touch.
In this project, the vibrant floral wreath and foliage contrast beautifully with the blackbird at the centre, making the design pop. The fun was in mixing and matching elements, experimenting with the wide range of colours in the Distress Ink Paper Sets. With the option to print back-to-back pages in any combination, the creative possibilities are endless.
The Eco Dyed paper sets are ideal for vintage-style junk journals, travel journals or field notes, with options for subtle backgrounds or layered leaf and floral collages.
You can embellish pages with stamping, die-cuts, fabric trims and pockets or even print the eco designs onto fabric for some slow hand stitching. It’s a beautiful and relaxing way to create something truly personal and unique.
This cute card features my handmade templates for the spoon, teacup, and saucer, combined with a selection of different small floral dies to create a delicate trailing floral arrangement.
Most elements were cut from some of the Distress Ink Paper Sets , with just a touch of additional inking, for a vintage finish. Using pre-coloured papers made die-cutting quick and easy, leaving more time for the fun part - arranging the teacup bouquet and adding the flower-centre gems.
Tags are endlessly versatile and are perfect as gift tags, bookmarks or tiny art pieces. They’re quick and fun to make and a great way to explore mixed-media techniques like stamping, stencilling, stitching and adding fabric, lace or vintage ephemera.
Die-cutting tags from our pre-printed inked and painted papers, provides an inspiring starting point or background canvas that’s ready for you to transform into your own artistic mini masterpiece
